Amy Paulsen MT (ASCP) Director of Laboratory Operations
Amy graduated from the University of Kansas with her B.S. in Medical Technology. She started working immediately at George King Bio-Medical, Inc. upon graduation and earned her MT(ASCP) board certification. Amy left George King Bio-Medical, Inc. when she and her husband started their family. She spent many years volunteering and leading committees at her boys’ schools. She returned to us now that her youngest son started college. Amy recently stepped into the Director of Laboratory Operations role where she is learning a whole new world of manufacturing and coagulation, which she feels is a bit like riding a bike!
Speaking of riding a bike, Amy enjoys teaching cycling and TRX classes in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and two huskies. Amy looks forward to this new chapter in her life! She is excited to help George King Bio-Medical, Inc. maintain their excellence in providing high quality control and deficient plasmas to laboratories worldwide.
